Day 1 Singapore Q Delhi (Meals On Board)
Arrive Delhi airport, meet your Indian Tour Leader. Transfer to hotel for your overnight stay. Overnight at Sunstar Grand or similar 3* hotel.
     
Day 2 Delhi - Amritsar v Dharamsala [200 km, 5-6 hrs drive] (Breakfast / Lunch)
Transfer to railway station to board on fast Shatabedi train No.2029 (except Sun) leaving New Delhi station at 0720hr and arriving 1300hr at Amritsar. Upon arrival tour around Amritsar – the holy town of Sikhs, has grown from a sacred village pond into a spiritual temporal centre of Sikh culture. The city gets its name from the pool – Amritsar (Pool of Nectar), which was constructed by the fourth religious preceptor of the Sikh faith. Visit Golden Temple or Darbar Sahib is the most sacred temple for Sikhs. It is a symbol of the magnificence and strength of the Sikh people all over the world. Its architecture includes symbols associated with other places of worship. An example of the spirit of tolerance and acceptance that the Sikh philosophy propounds.

Thereafter, drive to Dharamsala upon arrival, transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Asia Health Resort or similar.
 
Day 3 Dharamsala (Excursion) (Breakfast/Lunch)
A day to walk around in Dharamsala and Mcleod Gang – also known as Little Lahsa (capital of Tibet), full of Tibetans, Tibetan monasteries, colourful Tibetan handicraft shops and small restaurants run by young Tibetan entrepreneurs. There are some Tibetan Research Institutes and small factories producing Tibetan herbal medicines here. Afternoon, drive to visit Dalai Lama’s Norbulinga Institute – known for its various schools of Tibetan paintings and handicraft training. Evening – free to walk around Dharamsala.
 
Day 4  Dharamsala v Manali [260 km, 6-7 hrs drive] (Breakfast/Lunch)
Early morning drive to Manali visiting the Town of Shiva – Baijnath and visit the 13th century Shiva temple.According to legend the Demon king of Lanka Ravana (Who have got 10 head) as per epic Ramayana offered his nine head to Lord Shiva for the boon of immortality. But the Shiva was not impressed, finally he decides to offer his tenth head and Lord Shiva was pleased with his willingness to sacrifice his heads and blessed him with a Shivlinga. The moment when Ravana rested the Shivling on the ground at this place it became so heavy that he couldn’t manage to carry it and take it to his kingdom Lanka, so he constructed a temple dedicated to Shiva at the present site. The same Shivling is in this temple till date.

After visiting Baijnath drive to Chamuda Devi temple dedicated to Goddess Kali (Goddess of War) on the bank of Baner River. Religious lore has that the Devtas (Gods) were harassed by two demons Chanda and Munda. A Shakti (Power) emerged as the result of prayer of Lord Brahma (Generator) by the Devatas in the form of Goddess Kali, who killed the demon in fierce battle. You can also discuss with your tour leader to stop at few more interesting locations along the way like Tashi Jong Monastery or Shanan Hydel project. On arrival transfer to Hotel.

Near Manali we stop at Naggar to visit Rorich Art Gallery and Naggar Castle. Rorich Art Gallery displays the artwork of both Professor Nicholas Rerich and his son. Naggar was the old capital of Kullu state before it was shifted to Kullu town in 1660. Overnight stay at Silmog Garden or Sojourn Cottage or similar.

 
Day 5 Manali (Excursion)  (Breakfast/Lunch)
Drive around Manali to visit some Buddhist monasteries. Thereafter, visit Hidimba Devi Temple – constructed in the middle of pine forest. Hidimba is the family Goddess of the royal family of Kullu. There are locals offering hiring of the local dress and photography on yak-ride in the premises of the temple.

Next, drive to Manu Temple. Manali is named after Manu Temple, which was traditionally called Manu-Alaya; which means "House of Manu". Later, it was pronounced as Manali. According to Hindu mythology, human and nature have cycle of development and when it reaches its peak, it was destroyed by some natural calamity and only very few people survive in this cycle. In the last destruction of the world, Manu was leader of the people who survived and he started the world from Manali. We will also visit the Tibetan monasteries and mountaineering institute. Afternoon, free at own leisure for shopping and own activities.
OPTIONAL TOUR: MANALI – SOLANG TREKKING (4 hours)
Trek 4 hours to Solang passing through old Manali, Gushal, Shanag and Burua villages along the way. After arriving at Solang, you can enjoy paragliding with pilot as an optional activity. These twin-seater paragliders are foot launched and you stay in air for around 400 metres, but the feeling is like you have stayed in air for a longer time due to excitement and the height that you fly.

 
Day 6 Manali (Excursion)  (Breakfast/Lunch)
Morning, drive to Solang [102 km] to enjoy paragliding or skiing (Optional). Continue to Snow Point which is the maximum approachable road towards Rohtang Pass depending on the snow condition (3,978m). Between July to October, you can arrive on top of Rohtang Pass and view the peaks, mountains and glaciers of Chandra-Bhaga range. Most of the peaks in CB range are above 5,000m and covered with snow all round the year.
 
Day 7  Manali v Shimila [270 km, 7-9 hours drive] (Breakfast/Lunch)
Early morning drive to Shimla. This journey offers dramatic changes in nature from Lower Himalayas to Shivalik Himalayas and then again to the lower Himalayas. You will be driving from a hilltop to different valley structures and sometimes driving along different rivers. We will be stopping at 8th century stone constructed Brijeshwar Mahadev Temple and Himachal Photo Gallery at Mandi. On arrival, transfer to hotel for overnight stay at Willow Bank or Hotel Comber mere or similar.
 
Day 8  Shimila v Chandigarh [170 km, 5-6 hours] - Delhi [3hr 10min] (Breakfast/Lunch)
Drive to Advance Studies Institute. After visiting the Advance Studies institute drive to Jakhu Temple and walk down to the Mall Road – lined with English looking houses as Shimla was the Summer Capital of India during British rule and most of the buildings are constructed by Britons.

After lunch transfer to train station to board on toy train to enjoy 40 minute short journey to Taradevi. On arrival drive to Chandigarh and transfer to train station to board on fast Shatabedi train to Delhi leaving 1820 hour and arriving 1940 hour. Dinner served on board. On arrival, transfer to hotel for your overnight stay. (Option for additional night extension @ Shimla, for more detail pls check with us)
 
Day 9 Delhi Q Singapore  
Morning be transfer to international airport to board on your scheduled flight back to Singapore. Arrive home with fond memories and a wonderful experience of a great holiday with Asia~Euro Holidays.
