your watch back 2hr30min to Indian time. Welcome to Bangalore,
India! Meet and assist upon by our local representative and
drive to Hassan. En route visit Sravanabelagola,
home to one of the world’s tallest monoliths. Standing
17 meters, this 1000-year-old statue of Gommateshvara, a Jain
saint, is atop the Indragiri hill with 600 steps carved into
the rock.
Proceed
on to visit Hoysala and Chennakesava
Temples in Belur, that were built by the Hoysala
kings in the fifteenth century that stand examples of the
culture that existed and high technique of architecture in
this part of India.
Thereafter
check-in Hoysala Village or similar 4* for
overnight stay.

Hassan
v

| Morning
after breakfast, experience a bullock cart ride
into a nearby village. Thereafter checkout hotel and proceed
to drive from Hassan towards the coffee stronghold of south
India on the leeward side of the Western Ghats. Upon
arrival in the village of Siddhapur, check-in Orange
county cottages in Coorg. After Lunch will explore
around the plantation, visiting the orange orchids, spice
plantations and the forest periphery. In the evening enjoy
barbeque dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay at Orange County
Resort or similar 5* hotel. |

| Morning
after breakfast, explore the plantation and forest accompanied
by the guide from the resort. Thereafter free at own leisure
optional you may want to try the ayurvedic massage in the
resort. Afternoon after lunch, visit to the second largest
Tibetan settlement, the Namdroling
Monastary (Golden Temple) at Bylakuppe Village in
Kushalnagar. Dinner and overnight at hotel. |

Cruise
through the serene backwaters of the Kabini River on
a motorboat viewing sleepy crocodiles and chirpy birds,
intent on their morning catch. View a variety of wildlife,
especially the elephants, coming to the river for bath
or adrink. Alternatively, you can go on a jeep safari
to sight the animals, have a ride on the elephant in
the jungle, whichmeans you also can have the boat ride
in the evening before. |

Bid
farewell to Kabini, the memories of their stay here
will linger on, till the time you return again. |

Thereafter drive to Mysore,
which is just 90 km away. Upon arrival will have lunch
at one of the restaurant, thereafter proceed to visit
the Mysore Palace and Museum - Built
in the Indo-Saracenic style with domes, turrets, arches
& colonnades, the palace in-spite of housing the
Royal Family and is open for visitors it attracts in
millions from all over the world. Stop by Devaraja
Market to experience the local shopping in
Mysore.
Thereafter
check-in to "Windflower Resort and Spa"
Late afternoon proceed to visit Chamundi Temple
located on top of the Chamundi hills is the most famous
temple in Mysore, since Goddess Chamundi or Chamundeshwari
is the presiding deity of Msyore. Stop by at the Mahisha
statue for photos, on whose memory Mysore has
been named. Dinner at the Olive Garden Restaurant. |

| Day 6 |
Mysore |

| Morning
after breakfast shall drive to Srirangapatnam
(16kms from Mysore) the island fortress of the legendary warrior
king Tippu Sultan. Visit Gumbaz - the tombs
of Tippu Sultan, his father Hyder Ali (1722-1784AD) and mother
Fathima Begum are laid out in Gumbaz. Enroute visit Sangam
– a popular picnic spot set in beautiful lush green
surroundings where the River Lokapavani joins the
River Cauvery.
Continue your journey to visit the summer palace,
the Ranganathaswamy temple, Tippu’s
fort and gallows. Visit to Somnathpur - is
a small village on the banks of the river Cauvery that was
founded by the commander of the Hoyasala army, Somnath. The
village is famous for its splendid and grand Keshava
temple that has been built in the Hoyasala style
and is famous for its elaborate and intricate sculpturing.
Return to resort dinner and overnight stay. |

at own leisure after breakfast, where you can possibly enjoy
a swim or take another rejuvenation treatment in their spa.
After lunch will drive to the train station, 2.30
pm you will board the train Shatabdi Express to Chennai.
Arrive Chennai at 09.30 pm. Upon arrival you will be transferred
to Benz park Hotel or similar 3 star hotel.

after breakfast. City tour of Chennai covering visit to Fort
St. George - was built by the east India Company
in 1639-40. It was one of the first English establishments
in India. Visit St. Mary's Church - It is
also called as the Westminster Abbey of the East. It is one
of the ancient buildings of Chennai and also it is the first
Anglican Church in Asia. The church has been named as St.
Mary because its origin was laid down on the Annunciation
day of the Virgin Mary. Thereafter be transferred to International
Airport for your flight back home to Singapore, with fond
memories of India! |
